Founded by Umar Essy and Zaid Essy, the firm combines strong academic achievements, professional experience, and a client-focused approach to provide exceptional legal services.
Umar Essy holds an LLB cum laude from the University of South Africa, achieving twenty-five distinctions, including an impressive 94% in Contract Law. Zaid Essy also earned his LLB from the same institution, graduating with fifteen distinctions. Both professionals bring a wealth of knowledge and share a passion for excellence in their legal practice.
Beyond their LLBs, Umar and Zaid further enhanced their expertise with advanced studies in Islamic Law and Sciences at renowned Darul Uloom seminaries. Their studies encompassed Islamic Jurisprudence, Quranic Sciences, Hadith, Business, Finance, and Economics, enabling them to offer sharia-compliant legal advisory alongside conventional legal services.
Essy Attorneys specializes in various areas of law, including property law, real estate transfers, contracts, wills and estates, constitutional matters, and mediation.
